Traditional stitching classing All year We will need to keep this activity on hold till SABAH gets additional facilities. They do not have the capacity at the moment to teach since most of their workers are home based.

If client decide to visit home based. Direct contribution can be made to the host

Teaching English in a monastery All year Teach monks at Eutok Goenpa, Shaba, Paro. There are around 50 monks from ages 6 to 20. Except during the festival time one week in March/April.

Can donate teaching materials etc and can spend time with Student. No charges from the company

Transplanting rice Mid May – First week of June We can try out the experience in Shaba Village, Paro.

This activities can be experience live when and where it is possible during their trip. ( Paro , Thimphu, Punakha and Wangdue) Tourist can contribute some money direct to the host or can buy juice or snacks.

Harvesting asparagus April- July Need to find out farmers growing this. Haven’t found suitable contact.

There is no farmer growing asparagus for commercial sell. Contractors buy and collect directly from the farmers.

Picking Persimmon October – December Punakha/Wangdue

There is no farm as such. But can arrange by Guide with local farmers for the picking Persimmon .
